Barbarian mage
Just wanted some opinions on taking one lvl barbarian for the xtra hp and an xtra 10% run speed. Had in mind something like a 38sorc/1pally/1barb.... Any comments bad or good would be appreciated.

Well Bug, that's certainly thinking outside the box . Not sure if the trade off not taking perhaps a cleric level to rez would be worth it IMO. I know it's the "norm" but it seems to work the best....

Deflect arrowss takes 2 monk lvls? was thinking of using a golvey armor and shield w/ the barb since he still retains his speed bonus even while wearing armor. But not sure if monks still do they might.

Would you have enough strength to carry the armor and the shield? To give up on Evasion for AC is not worth on a mage, in my opinion.Jo

Barbs do not lose any of their abilities with heavery armor. Dont think there's much use for the rage unless u'd want to drop ur ac lower than it'll probly be. I thought the 10% runspeed was somthing...

If you're planning on using the golvern plate/shield, you will have an armor check penalty that is pretty bad, and this will apply to your tumble skill, which will max at 21ish due to cross classing....

1 Ranger lvl taken at epic allows you to trade in the favoried enemy for an epic spell focus slot, I would have to agree that takin' the monk lvl is your best option though.... too bad you can't take...
